VEGETARIAN · TASTE OF ETHIOPIA

Vegetarian platter of injera with orange stews, greens, potatoes, cabbage, beetroot and chopped salad

Yetsom Beyaynetu

$25 AUD

A selection of Ethiopian vegetarian stews, served together with injera.

What to know

The dish

Yetsom Beyaynetu is a selection of Ethiopian vegetarian stews. The supplied photograph shows soft stews and cooked vegetables on injera, with potatoes, greens and beetroot offering different textures. Ask the team which vegetables and stews are included in the current serving.

A first bite

Try potato on injera first, followed by greens, then the smooth centre stew. Compare that with one of the thicker orange servings. Finish the round with a little beetroot or salad, and ask the team about the small red condiments before adding them.

How to eat it

Tear off a small piece of injera and scoop one or two sides. The flatbread underneath catches the sauces and is there to enjoy.

Before you order

Please confirm vegan requirements and allergies with the team. Ask about dressings, cooking fats and the flour in the injera.

Tell our team about allergies or dietary needs, and confirm the ingredients and accompaniments before ordering.
