## What’s on *this plate?*

Rice with Lamb Tibs pairs cooked lamb with rice. It is a familiar starting point if you usually enjoy a meat-and-rice meal and want to try Ethiopian flavours. The lamb and rice give you two different textures to combine or taste separately.

### A closer look at each part

**Lamb pieces**

Tender lamb is the named meat in this dish. Take one small piece first to get to know its seasoning.

**Rice**

The rice is served as a side to the lamb. It gathers some of the meat’s flavour when you combine them in a bite.

**Seasoning and photographed vegetables**

The reference presentation shows vegetable strips with the meat, but the written menu does not specify every vegetable or spice. Confirm the current accompaniments if they matter to your choice.

Found a warm atmosphere and fresh, flavourful food, especially the vegetarian platter served on injera.

### Start here

Try a little rice on its own, then add a lamb piece to your next forkful.

THE HOW

### Make it your own

A fork or spoon makes it easy to combine a small amount of lamb and rice. There is no need to add injera unless you want it.
