**01 I’ve never tried Ethiopian food. Where should I start?**

Begin with a flavour you already enjoy: a vegetarian selection, spiced chicken stew or seasoned meat. Our food detail pages explain what the dishes are, their textures and how to enjoy them. The team can help you choose when you visit.

**02 What is injera, and how do I eat it?**

Injera is a soft, porous flatbread with a lightly tangy flavour. It often forms the base of a shared plate. Tear off a small piece and use it to scoop up a little stew or vegetables. Ask the team for cutlery if you prefer.

**03 Are there vegetarian options?**

Yetsom Beyaynetu and Shiro Wot are listed among our vegetarian choices. Ingredients and preparation can vary, so please confirm vegan preferences, allergies and dietary requirements directly with the restaurant.

**04 Can you accommodate food allergies?**

Please contact the restaurant before ordering and explain the specific allergy. Ingredient lists, preparation methods and cross-contact need to be confirmed with the kitchen; this website cannot guarantee that any dish is allergen-free.

**05 How do I reserve a table?**

Use the reservations page to prepare a request with your preferred date, time and party size. Review it, then continue in WhatsApp. Your table is confirmed only when the restaurant replies with confirmation.

**06 Can I order online?**

Yes. Our Order Online page links to the Taste of Ethiopia storefronts on DoorDash and Uber Eats. Each provider shows its current menu, prices, delivery area, fees and availability.

**07 Where are you, and what are your opening hours?**

Find us at 121 Nicholson Street, Footscray VIC 3011. Please contact the restaurant for current opening hours and public-holiday arrangements before travelling.

**08 Can I organise a group meal or celebration?**

Send a table request and include the occasion, number of guests and your preferred date. The team can discuss availability and arrangements. No private room, exclusive hire or fixed event package is confirmed by submitting a request.

**09 Do you offer trips to Ethiopia?**

Yes, you can enquire about Ethiopia tour packages through our Ethiopia Tours page. Ask the team about available options, travel dates, inclusions and pricing. An enquiry does not confirm a trip.

**10 How do I change or cancel a reservation?**

Reply to your booking confirmation or email the restaurant as soon as your plans change. Include the booking name, date, time and party size. Any conditions agreed with the restaurant when confirming the booking apply.
